What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CENTER MANAGER - Madison, FL position at North Florida Medical?
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting the center manager with all non-clinical functions of assigned centers as directed by the center manager. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Communication liaison for the Center Manager
- Work front desk operations as needed
- Monitor, report, and address center and center staff administrative needs as assigned
- Assist with accounting functions including expense reports, invoice reconciliation, filing, and ensuring center medical, dental, and administrative supply orders are completed and submitted timely
- Address patient billing inquiries, research patient issues, verify accuracy and completion of slide fee applications, and respond to corporate billing inquiries
SCHEDULE/HOURS
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- No weekends
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school program.
- Minimum of three years administrative experience, including one year of medical office experience.
- Courses in medical terminology and healthcare office management preferred.
- Medical Record Certifications useful but not required.
- A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
