North Florida Integrative Medicine is a thriving, patient-centered primary care and integrative

medicine practice led by Yale-trained physician Dr. Angeli Akey. We blend conventional internal

medicine with functional and holistic approaches to help patients address root causes and

achieve lasting wellness. We’re looking for an experienced, organized, and people-oriented

Medical Office Manager to help run our growing clinic with efficiency and heart.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position in our small, collaborative team. You’ll oversee day-to-day

operations, support our clinical and administrative staff, and help create a smooth, welcoming

experience for both patients and providers. Ideal for someone who loves both healthcare

operations and building a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage daily clinic operations, scheduling, and patient flow

● Oversee front office, medical assistants, and administrative staff

● Handle HR functions (hiring, onboarding, performance management)

● Manage billing, credentialing, insurance, and revenue cycle processes

● Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations

● Support provider schedules and coordinate with our integrative care team (MD,

PA/ARNP, acupuncturist)

● Monitor inventory, vendor relationships, and office systems

● Help maintain our warm, patient-centered environment

Qualifications

● 3 years of medical office management experience (primary care or

integrative/functional medicine preferred)

● Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes

● Experience with EHR systems and general office software

● Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

● Organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a busy but supportive setting

● Passion for integrative/holistic medicine is a big plus!

Schedule
