Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Orange Park, FL. The Gymnastics Coach will be responsible for teaching gymnastics and tumbling techniques to students of various ages and skill levels. Daily tasks include leading instruction for classes, creating lesson plans, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing constructive feedback to help athletes achieve their goals. The coach is also expected to foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes growth and a love for gymnastics.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in gymnastics techniques and skills, including experience working with gymnasts of varying levels
- Experience in coaching, with an emphasis on sports coaching and teaching foundational gymnastic programs
- Strong communication skills to effectively instruct, motivate, and work with students and their families
- Ability to maintain a safe and supportive coaching environment
- Previous gymnastics or sports coaching experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus
- A passion for working with children and helping them grow in confidence and skill
