Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Overview

Join our team as a Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, where you will help exceptional skin care and dermatological services! This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with board-certified dermatologists in a fast-paced clinic setting. You will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of dermatological conditions, ensuring patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough skin examinations and assess rashes
• Perform dermatological procedures such as shave biopsies, punch biopsies, skin cancer destruction, and closures
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines and collaborative practice agreements
• Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical records management, data collection, and documentation of clinical encounters
• Educate patients on skin care, treatment options, and preventive measures

Experience/Skills

• Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
• Prior experience working in an outpatient dermatology clinic or related specialty setting is preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems such as Modernizing Medicine EMA is preferred, but not required
• Hands-on experience with dermatological procedures including biopsies and suturing is preferred, but not required
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00am-12:00pm, 1:00-5:00pm
• Friday 8:00am-12:00pm

Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
