We're looking for a Part-Time Recruiting Coordinator to help support our growing recruiting operation. This is not a sales recruiting position or a corporate HR role. You'll be helping build one of the best delivery teams in Jacksonville by keeping candidates engaged throughout the hiring process.
If you've recruited for FedEx Ground, Amazon DSP or other last-mile logistics companies, that's a huge plus.
WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR
You are:
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable talking with candidates over the phone
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Able to multitask without letting details fall through the cracks
- Comfortable working independently while keeping management updated
- Experienced with recruiting, staffing, HR, or talent acquisition
- Experienced with last-mile logistics hiring (FedEx Ground, Amazon DSP, UPS, etc.) is strongly preferred
- Experienced with First Advantage is a Huge plus
THE ROLE
You'll support the recruiting process by handling many of the day-to-day tasks that keep hiring moving, including:
- Calling applicants after they apply
- Following up with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Scheduling interviews and orientations
- Monitoring background checks, drug tests, DOT physicals, and hiring requirements
- Answering candidate questions by phone, text, and email
- Keeping recruiting spreadsheets and hiring trackers updated
- Maintaining regular communication with management regarding candidate progress
- Helping ensure qualified candidates don't fall through the cracks
Hiring decisions will remain with management. Your role is to keep the recruiting process organized, responsive, and moving efficiently.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous recruiting or staffing experience REQUIRED
- Experience hiring delivery drivers or transportation employees is a major plus
- FedEx Ground or Amazon DSP recruiting experience is highly preferred
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online hiring platforms
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
