Part-Time Night Clerk
We are hiring a dependable Night Clerk to support our evening delivery operation. This hourly, part-time position typically runs from approximately 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with the end time depending on operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Check in drivers as they return from their shifts and provide a positive, professional point of contact
- Check in, collect driver devices and record condition of devices
- Charge devices and other assigned equipment for the next shift
- Inspect trucks and devices for defects and report any issues
- Move trucks in and out of tight parking and staging areas
- Send an email recap of the closing shift
- Help keep the evening operation organized and running smoothly
Qualifications
- Must meet the same hiring and driving qualifications required of our delivery drivers
- Must be eligible to complete the required driver certification and safely operate company trucks
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check, pre-employment drug test including THC, and random drug testing
- Positive, professional, and respectful when interacting with drivers
- Dependable, punctual, and attentive to safety
- Comfortable maneuvering larger vehicles in tight spaces
- Able to communicate clearly in writing and send an accurate closing-shift recap by email
