Join our dynamic team as a GSE/Equipment Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all ground support equipment, industrial machinery operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
We are Hiring for a 11:30am to 8:00pm shift.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on ground support equipment such as aircraft tugs, baggage loaders, and belt loaders to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, automotive electrical systems diagnostics, and other technical resources; execute repairs efficiently.
- Conduct operation of industrial machinery with precision and safety.
- Hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to support ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot complex systems including hydraulics, transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and diesel engines to restore full functionality.
- Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed; complete shift reports and logs accurately for compliance and tracking purposes.
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of equipment during repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety standards.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in heavy truck repair and automotive diagnostics.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals related to heavy equipment systems including hydraulics, electrical wiring, transmissions, and suspension components.
- Skilled in vehicle maintenance procedures including brake repair, alignment adjustments, shocks & struts replacement.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems repair and troubleshooting diesel mechanics issues.
- Capable of performing general maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients when necessary.
