Job Overview
We are seeking a enthusiastic and knowledgeable Parts Counter Specialist to join our parts department. In this customer facing role, you will assist powersports enthusiasts in sourcing the right parts and accessories, provide expert advice, and ensure a seamless shopping experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail setting, has a genuine love for powersports, and excels at building lasting customer relationships. This is a full-time hourly position plus commission.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their needs to recommend appropriate parts, accessories, and maintenance items.
- Utilize dealership software to look up parts availability, process orders, and manage inventory for OEM and aftermarket components,
- Provide accurate technical support on product specifications, compatibility, and installation tips for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs and other powersports vehicles.
- Handle sales transactions, including ringing up purchases, and processing payments.
- Collaborate with service technicians to fulfill work orders and coordinate special orders from manufacturers.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing parts counter and showroom display.
- Assist with inventory control, stocking shelves, and conducting cycle counts.
- Promote upsell opportunities, such as apparel, and seasonal promotions.
- Stay current on industry trends, new product releases, and manufacturer training programs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
