Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA). This role involves supporting clients in developing essential skills, managing behaviors, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) within a supportive and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behavioral therapy, experience working with children and adults, and a commitment to improving clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
  • Use positive behavior management techniques to reduce challenging behaviors and reinforce desired behaviors.
  • Support clients in developing communication, social, academic, and life skills through structured teaching methods.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, including progress notes, medical records, and care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment approaches.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all medical documentation standards and medical terminology protocols.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a criminal background check and abuse registry check.
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and special education principles.
  • Ability to work effectively with people with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Compassionate approach to patient care with excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards related to medical records and behavioral health information.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
