SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for projects involving research, analysis, and the
presentation of findings, insights, and recommendations based on various factors (ex: data
insights, regulatory changes, feedback from QA reviews, market information, etc.) to solve
business problems and improve outcomes.
Candidate is part of the NEMS MSO managed care Business Analytics team primarily focusing on the Epic Tapestry system. Candidate is required to have prior experiences in healthcare data analysis, with thorough understanding in various data models for HEDIS, P4P, HCC, RAF, PMPM, BD/K, ED/K, IBNR, and other managed care reporting. Must complete Epic Tapestry system fundamental training and must obtain certifications in Caboodle Data Model (CDW110v), Clarity Data Model (CLR110), Revenue Data Model (COG 230), and Cogito (COG170), at time of employment or within six months of hire.

Essential Job Functions
- Evaluate, communicate, and document business requests for implementation
- Perform research by gathering data from a variety of healthcare sources, including
- Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders and leadership using effective
- Diligently pursue learning and training opportunities to build skills and knowledge
- Ability to translate project goals and requirements to business and technical teams with a confirmed understanding of development processes.
- Responsible for completing ad hoc requests for data and analysis, utilizing business, operational, and analytical skills/knowledge.
- Owns report development for reports/dashboards.
- Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a healthcare related field. Associate degree with minimum 6 years of relevant experience in healthcare data analytics field may be considered.
- 4 years analytical experience working in healthcare data quality reporting.
- Epic Certification required or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Expert in SQL and other common analytic/data tools (4 years)
- Development and Building experience with Business Intelligence tools like SQL Server,
- Knowledge of standard healthcare Quality Measures and reporting, like NCQA HEDIS,
- Understanding of the sources and contents of health care data with experience in
- Displays strong communication abilities to effectively coordinate work and collaborate
- Motivation to build best in class software.
- Able to research and apply problem solving, analytical skills.
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
- Fluency in other languages is an asset.
