Atlantic Subaru, a family-owned dealership and 10-Time Subaru President's Club Award Winner, is seeking a motivated Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join our high-performing team.
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Automotive BDC (Business Development Center) Representative to join our vibrant sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, engaging with them via phone, email, and in person to generate leads, schedule appointments, and support the dealership’s sales objectives. Your enthusiasm and exceptional communication skills will drive customer interest and foster lasting relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of automotive sales, working closely with our sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve high-end sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Initiate outbound calls and follow up with potential clients to promote vehicle sales and dealership services
- Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline through effective client communication and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
- Qualify leads by understanding customer needs, preferences, and financing options, including automotive financing solutions
- Schedule appointments for the sales team with prospective buyers, ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Support the sales team by providing detailed client information, assisting with inventory management, and coordinating deal closing processes
- Upsell additional products or services such as extended warranties or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette, professional client communication, and organizational skills to ensure high-quality service delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive industry sales or retail sales with a focus on customer relationship building
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively in high-end or passenger car sales
- Experience in outbound B2B (business-to-business) or B2C (business-to-consumer) sales environments, preferably within a dealership setting
- Familiarity with CRM software, inventory control systems, and automotive financing options is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to engage clients confidently
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets through strategic upselling and deal closing techniques
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in managing a busy sales pipeline and supporting inventory management tasks
