K-4 Assistant Principal

The School is now accepting applications for a K-4 Assistant Principal for the upcoming school year. The School is a K-9 campus located in Layton, Utah.

The School is Utah's first International Spanish Academy. Every student studies Spanish and experiences learning with international teachers. The School has more teachers from Spain than any other school in the United States and Canada. The vision of of the School is to develop a love of learning, experience high academic achievement, and enjoy high bi-literate proficiency.

The Assistant Principal will work with the Principal/Director to ensure a quality education. Pay will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications And Skills

• Must be fully invested in the vision.
• Work to prepare students for the world, not protect students from the world.
• Develop a strong sense of school community.
• Must have education experience.
• Preference given to Spanish speaking candidates.
• Preference given for Administrative experience.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.
• Clear and compelling communication to build trust, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Detailed organizational skills.
• Familiarity with computer programs.
• Flexibility in thinking and willingness to challenge traditional methods of education.
• Ability to keep tasks and assignments with little supervision.
