What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Desktop Administrator position at North Dakota Information Technology Dept?
Help improve the lives of North Dakota citizens by providing customer service as a member of our Enterprise Desktop Administration team. North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is seeking an Enterprise Desktop Administrator. This position requires onsite work in the Bismarck-Mandan metro area.
- Monitor, coordinate and resolve incidents and/or changes requested by customers and internal staff
- Provide remote and on-site support for computer hardware such as desktops, laptops, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Provide provisioning of devices for several state agencies.
- Manage asset inventory throughout a device's lifecycle, including surplus of equipment. Identify, document, and clearly articulate operational functions and work with business analysts to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide quality customer service in a work environment with a continuous workload
To succeed in this position, you will be an inquisitive and constant learner, open to observation and feedback. You should be highly organized, able to manage your time and priorities effectively in order to meet organization standards. You establish and maintain effective working relationships while working independently and within a team.
To be considered for this role, you must have an associate degree in computer science or closely related field, or a high school diploma and two years of current and progressive IT technical related work experience.
