Medical Billing Specialist
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking for a role where your work makes a real difference? North Dakota Eye Clinic is hiring a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to join our billing team in Grand Forks.
This in-office position offers variety, problem-solving, and the chance to see the results of your work every day. No medical billing experience? We'll train the right person.
Pay: $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm; Friday, 8:00 am–3:00 pm. No weekends!
Location: Grand Forks, ND (in-office)
What You'll Do
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Submit and manage claims with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Post insurance and patient payments and adjustments
- Research and resolve denied or rejected claims
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable
- Generate patient statements and help patients understand their balances
- Communicate with insurance companies about claims and payments
- Work closely with our front desk, technicians, and providers to resolve billing issues

Helpful, but not required: medical billing or revenue cycle experience, familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding, EOBs, or practice management/EHR software.
