What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parcel Driver position at North County Parcel Services Inc?
NCPS is expanding its team and is seeking self-motivated individuals who enjoy working in an outdoor environment. We need people who can safely navigate beachside streets to find delivery points. At NCPS, our top priority is the safety of both our team members and the packages we deliver.
We currently have full-time positions available for FedEx Ground drivers in Oceanside. Our drivers will benefit from clean, newer trucks and low-traffic routes. We offer competitive wages, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, and strong, positive leadership.
Candidates must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a physical examination, which includes a drug test. The delivery driver will be responsible for completing deliveries quickly and efficiently in accordance with company policies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, have experience operating a vehicle, and understand the importance of maintaining a clean vehicle.
We have openings for the following schedules: Wednesday to Sunday and Thursday to Monday.
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 21
- Clean driving record (CDL not required)
- Consent to a background check and urine drug test
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle a dolly with packages weighing up to 150 lbs
- Strong customer service skills
- At least 2 years of delivery experience
