Landscape Restoration / Pipeline Land Clearing TechnicianJob Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Landscape Restoration / Pipeline Land Clearing Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for restoring properties impacted by utility work and maintaining pipeline rights-of-way through vegetation management and land clearing. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and has experience operating hand tools, power equipment, and land-clearing machinery.
Responsibilities
- Restore lawns, landscapes, and curbs/sidewalks to pre-utility work condition using topsoil, seed, straw, stone, and concrete.
- Grade and level disturbed ground to ensure proper drainage and site restoration
- Clear trees, brush, and overgrown vegetation along pipeline rights-of-way using chainsaws, trimmers, brush cutters, and other equipment.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Remove brush, debris, and waste materials from job sites.
- Install erosion and sediment control measures as needed.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, environmental guidelines, and company safety procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a crew to complete projects safely and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience in landscape restoration, land clearing, or related field preferred.
- Experience operating chainsaws, string trimmers, and brush cutters.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, walking uneven terrain, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to workplace safety.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
