Job Summary
This ain’t your average marketing gig. At North Country Smokehouse, we believe really good meat deserves a really strong message — and we’re looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to bring the sizzle. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Marketing team to create integrated campaigns that span digital, social, video, email, and more. Handcrafting copy & content that tease the tastebuds and brings people to brand. This role is part creator, part strategist. The right person will know how to marinate a message, season it to perfection, and serve it across platforms where our customers live, scroll, and shop. Duties
- Write copy for omni-channel communications (website, email, blogs, and advertisements). Strong brand copywriting skills are essential.
- Develop product launch and campaign briefs and work with the Marketing Coordinator to establish a timeline for team deliverables.
- Concept, plan, schedule, nurture & grow our social network. Work with the Digital Strategist to adjust strategy based on performance metrics.
- Act as an internal point of contact for our Press team. Schedule media samples, send swag & support community outreach efforts.
- Work with the Creative Specialist to coordinate photographers and shot lists to deliver high-quality marketing assets.
- Assist with other internal and external communications as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience
- Experience curating, scheduling and moderating content for social channels.
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan, execute, and manage marketing projects
- Creative thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for graphic design purposes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail within budget constraints.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
