Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager/Sales professional to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and strive to deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a comprehensive understanding of retail sales, inventory control, and organizational skills. This role offers an opportunity to manage a busy retail environment, implement effective merchandising strategies, and ensure operational excellence across all store functions.
Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS transactions, and maintaining a secure environment.
- Manage inventory levels through effective purchasing, stock replenishment, inventory control, and merchandising to optimize sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets while ensuring excellent customer service standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and foot traffic.
- Monitor retail math metrics such as pricing strategies, sales management, inventory turnover, and shrinkage control.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and interact effectively with customers.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and retail math.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Experience in merchandising, marketing strategies, purchasing, and stock management is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Previous experience in cashiering, cash handling, shift management, and retail sales is essential.
- Knowledge of general retail environments is advantageous.
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on customer service excellence and operational efficiency.
Pay: $35,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
