Seeking an individual with strong administrative and customer relationship skills to work in a high-tempo, team environment. Strong candidates have experience with dynamic work environments and a proven record supporting a wide range of tasks accurately and on time. This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time. Note that, during tax season (Jan through Apr), overtime of up to 10 hours per week may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with clients and public in person, on phone, and via correspondence
- Answer phones, direct and transfer phone calls
- Distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain and order office supplies
- Process billing and correspondence
- Prepare presentations
- Scan and bind documents
- Schedule meetings
- Install computer software updates
- Assist in processing tax returns, financial statements, and correspondence
- Filing and file maintenance
- Shredding
- Notary public duties
- Preparing various accounting reports
- Other administrative tasks as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience as an administrative assistant
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- High degree of professionalism with interactions with clients and public
- Ability to properly handle confidential information
- Willingness to learn new skills/tasks
