REPORTS TO: Psychosocial Clubhouse Director
STATUS: Full-time, Non-Union, Non-Exempt
HYBRID ELIGIBLE: No
STARTING WAGE RANGE: $19.52 - $20.50 per hour

Experience: Experience in human service field and relevant workings with individuals with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities preferred. Must have good computer skills, accounting and record keeping abilities. Experience with clear communications, verbally and in writing.
Other: Experiences with behavioral health issues are valued. Demonstrated ability to effectively work with groups. Enthusiasm about fostering opportunities for persons with mental illness.

Essential Job Functions
Ability to walk, bend, stand, sit, lift to 25 pounds with or without assistance, stretch/reach, hear, see, hand/finger dexterity and drive a vehicle. Position requires mobility to work at offsite TE job placements, assist with member’s housing relocation, and at other community sites. The Clubhouse Generalist plans and coordinates tasks integral to the running of the clubhouse, as well as providing vocational supports, advocacy activities, housing stability assistance and social recreation opportunities.
Essential Job Functions
- Promotes members’ vocational and social skill building through collegial work relationships.
- Organizes unit assignments and shares responsibility for Club functioning.
- Plans and completes Club projects and assists in procuring supplies.
- Responsible for utilization of petty cash funds, program banking and requisitions.
- Establishes program databases, performs data collection and entry tasks, tracks program outcomes and generates reports.
- Completes required documentation under the direction of clubhouse director.
- Takes initiative for job development networking and “marketing” on behalf of individual members and Petoskey Club Transitional Employment (TE) supported work sites.
- Maintains TE job sites as a Placement Manager. Links constructively with affiliated employers. Provides work site training, coaching, transportation, and substitute labor at member employment sites.
- Fosters housing stability and improvement for members.
- Assists members with attainment and maintenance of benefits and accessing community resources.
- Takes initiative with fund raising and other community involvement projects.
- Fosters all aspects of community inclusion and citizenship, including volunteer and civic opportunities.
- Actively participates with a team attitude and aids others when needed.
- Facilitates evening, weekend, and holiday after-hours social-recreational activities.
- Assists with program transportation and maintenance of vehicles.
- Completes other clubhouse related duties as assigned by the Clubhouse Director.

- Must be current in all applicable trainings; provided by NCCMH.
- Participate in team projects and with clubhouse and agency committees when appropriate.
- Must have own phone and internet for communication, reliable access to messages, and multi-factoring capabilities.
- Possess a valid Michigan driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
- Compliance with International Clubhouse Standards, health and safety protocols and Clubhouse policies.
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles and philosophy of the Clubhouse Model of PSR.
- Possess a valid Michigan’s driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to work within guidelines of the code of conduct, regulatory compliance plan and personnel policies.
- Supports a philosophy of service delivery that is recovery-based, person-centered and culturally competent.
