Job Overview
This position involves ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging environment for students during lunchtime and recess periods. The aide works closely with school staff to promote student well-being during lunch and recess. This is a 10- month position working approximately 3 hours per day.
Duties
- Supervise students during lunch and recess to ensure safety.
- Support students in following school rules and routines
- Promote a respectful and inclusive environment for all students
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to address student needs
- Related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to supervise students effectively in a school setting
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with students and staff
- Prior experience working with children or in a school environment is preferred but not required
- Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing a safe environment for students.
Pay: From $18.43 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
