Title: Director After School Program (Flipside)
Reports to: Lower School Principal
Purpose: Provides leadership, development and coordination of the After School (Flipside) for North Cobb Christian School.

Qualifications:
- Educational Level: Bachelor Degree
- Certification/License Required: Must be certified in CPR and First Aid
- Experience: 3 years experience working in school age after school programs with progressive responsibilities including experience in a supervisory role.
- Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities.

- Strong customer service skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Instructional strategies that connect curriculum/activities to students
- Discipline and student management
- Hands on experience with utilizing data to make informed decisions
- Personal commitment to service and hospitality
- Working knowledge of computer based programs such as but not limited to the Google Platform.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruits, trains, develops schedules, supervises and evaluates the after school.
- Reviews and approves staff time sheets.
- Develops, plans and manages best practices through engagement of the staff.
- Ensures that required materials, supplies and equipment are available.
- Implements appropriate procedures for severe weather, fire, accidents, fights, personnel conflicts, etc.
- Communicate with parents as needed.
- Fosters a climate of innovation and excitement.
- Effectively manages the after school budget.
- Holds staff accountable for high quality results using a formal process to measure progress and quality programming.
- Cultivates, supports and expands partnerships between teachers and families to best support all students.
- Collaboratively works with Lower School Principal to ensure coordination, communication, marketing and space for students participating in our after school.
- Ensures the program complies with all applicable laws, regulations and accreditation requirements.
- In attendance whenever programs or services are provided.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by administration including possible scheduling and organizational support for summer camp.
Other Information:
- Hours: Monday - Friday 10:40 a.m. - 6:40 p.m. with some exceptions 10 month employee
