What You Will Do:
- Order Filling/Receiving.
- Improve warehouse cleanliness.
- General warehouse work.
- Safe forklift driving.
- Cutting wire to custom lengths.
- Safely and reliably complete daily delivery routes to customer job sites, industrial facilities, and other North Coast Electric locations.
- Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness using the Driver's Vehicle Inspection Report.
- Ensure the truck is loaded correctly, secured, and within the weight limit.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
- 21 years of age or older.
- Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT).
- Ability to learn the use of handheld scanners and operating systems.
- Good oral & written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- DOT medical card or willing to obtain.
- Self-motivated and teamwork focused.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50 lbs.).
- Warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Typical 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday; however, based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required.
- Requires punctual regular, and reliable on-site attendance.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
