Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Family Medicine Physician located in our only office in Encinitas, CA. The Family Medicine Physician will provide primary care, urgent care, and community health services to patients. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, managing patient health records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The physician will also focus on preventive care and patient education.
Our 6 physician assistants and personal medical assistants help our 5 physicians develop a team environment to provide chronic and routine care for elderly, adults, and children. Physicians rotate weekend telephone call every 5 weeks with the assistance of a nurse triage company and hospitalist program. Our innovative approach to healthcare has led to the early adoption of the electronic medical records in 2004, use of standardized lab ordering protocols, and maximizing the staff’s duties beyond most medical practices.
