Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic optometric technician to join our family. The ideal candidate will be the a key part of our practice, providing exceptional customer service and assisting our patients to prepare to see the doctor.
We feel as though optometry / medical experience is not required. Customer service background is important as we are a people-focused, patient first practice. We are thrilled for you to join our tight knit family.

Our practice has three great locations (NR, Amherst, and Avon) and we are looking for an employee able to travel to each location as needed on occasion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the patient to see the doctor
- Take an appropriate medical history and enter into electronic medical records
- Capture imaging as needed (we will train)
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
Qualifications
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
