Non-Licensed Optician

Job Summary

We’re seeking a Non-Licensed Optician who’s passionate about eyewear styling, patient education, and precision craftsmanship. This role combines technical expertise with customer service and fashion sense.

**No experience necessary, we will train the right candidate. This job takes a lot of training, so we are looking for an employee who will be dedicated to learning and wants to settle in with our company**

What you’ll do

• Guide patients through frame and lens selection with attention to style, comfort, and prescription needs
• Provide top notch customer service including repairs and adjustments
• Verify, measure, and dispense glasses with quality assurance
• Manage optical orders, lab coordination, and inventory
• Educate patients on lens technology, coatings, and care
• Some verifying and billing of insurances, and collecting payments
• Collaborate with the optometrists and front desk team to ensure seamless patient flow

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
• Passionate about delivering a five-star patient experience
• Comfortable speaking with patients and selling product

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, Monday–Friday (no weekends!)
