Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with patient intake processes to ensure accurate and complete medical records.
- Assist optometrists with taking patient history, pre-testing and clinical procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized exam room and equipment.
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service at every touchpoint.
- Manage electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as CrystalPM or similar platforms to document patient visits accurately.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times.
- Perform administrative duties at the front desk, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing medical records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the practice.
- Prior experience in medical office settings or clinic environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
- Willingness to learn about eye care procedures.
