What You'll Do

As a Mechanical Engineer at NCC, you will:

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks for CAD drawings and 3D modeling.
  • Maintain and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with plant teams and management to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support equipment procurement, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Apply Lean principles to streamline operations and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements across all projects.
  • Travel expectation: You will be expected to travel up to 25% as part of your role.

What We're Looking For

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of mechanics, metal forming, and finishing processes.
    • Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD design (SolidWorks required).
    • Experience with manufacturing equipment procurement and installation.
    • Familiarity with Lean tools and applications.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to distinguish colors for quality control (frequent).
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and light lifting.
  • Periods of sitting or standing as needed.
