Account Manager - Outside Sales - Chicago, IL

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•         Initiate product price quotations and review product cost sheets
•         Routinely visit current customers and solicit prospective customers
•         Determine customer specifications and forward requirements to customer service
•         Keeping abreast of the manufacturing process capabilities and transportation
•         Scheduling customer tours
•         Identify new opportunities
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of our product line; maintain knowledge of the markets we serve, learn competitive environment; establish strategy to secure competitors’ business in your territory.
• Work closely with Client Service support staff, keeping them apprised of customer needs and any deviations.
• Work strategically and collaboratively with vendors and core suppliers to develop new business and protect existing.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: 

·        High School Diploma OR GED - Required

·        Minimum 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other related field – Preferred  

·        Minimum of 2 Years Outside Sales Experience preferably in the packaging field 

·        Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills

·        Be articulate and proficient in the English language, both written and spoken.

·        Must be willing to travel

·        Valid Driver’s Licenses

·        Own your vehicle
