ABOUT THE ROLE

North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring 2 cleaners for a recurring retail cleaning job at a store in the St. Johns Town Center area. This is occasional, recurring work — a great foot-in-the-door with a growing multi-state cleaning company, not a full-time or part-time position. The store name and exact address will be shared once you're confirmed and onboarded.

THIS IS A 2-PERSON JOB — READ THIS PART

We hire two cleaners separately for this job so there's always coverage. We prefer the two hires not be related or in a relationship — it keeps the job covered if one person's schedule changes. You're welcome to bring your own helper instead, but you'd split your one spot's pay with them, and we still hire a second person separately.

THE JOB

Commercial Cleaning Window Washing (one combined visit, one pay)

• Pay: $50 per person, per visit
• Time on site: about 1.25–1.75 hours with two working together
• That averages roughly $28–$40 per hour
• Schedule: Bi-weekly (every other Sunday), 7:00 AM start
• Next service date: Sunday, August 2, 2026 — 7:00 AM

PAYMENT

Each visit is paid separately. Check-in, before/after photos, and check-out through our app MUST be completed — skipping them slows everything down. When everything's done right, payment usually lands within 24–48 hours. The goal is same-day — that happens once the work is confirmed and the store manager is happy with the results.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Sweep, dust mop, and mop all floors including corners and edges. Dust shelving, fixtures, ledges, and vents. Wipe down counters and display cases. Empty trash and replace liners. Clean and disinfect the restroom if present. Clean the entry and display glass inside and out with a scrubber and squeegee — no streaks, edges detailed and dry. The work is split between the two of you. Full checklist provided after onboarding.

SUPPLIES

Bring your own supplies and earn a bonus per visit — $10 for cleaning supplies, $15 if you bring your window gear too. Or North Co provides everything; either is fine. Tell us what you have — all, some, or none.

If bringing your own:

• Cleaning: mop and bucket and/or flat mop with extra pads, broom & dust pan, dust mop (optional), all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner, microfiber cloths, dusting tool, and restroom cleaner.
• Windows: professional window scrubber/applicator, squeegee, glass cleaning solution, microfiber or scrim cloths, a scraper or razor, and a bucket.

DRESS CODE

• Slip-resistant shoes required — we'll help you get a pair if needed
• Clean, plain blue or black shirt (branded North Co shirt provided at 3 months)
• Jeans or non-athletic shorts — nothing ripped, no sweatpants, nothing revealing
• Jewelry to a minimum, hat on or hair tied back
• Arrive clean and presentable

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 or older
• Prior cleaning experience — commercial or residential is fine, as long as you know how to clean
• Window washing experience with a scrubber and squeegee — required
• Reliable personal transportation — if your vehicle breaks down often or you share it, you'll need a backup plan
• Strong communication — checking in, responding, and keeping us updated. This is number one.
• Able to pass a background check

PACE / THE SERVICE WINDOW

The store gives us a set access window, so you'll need to move with purpose while keeping quality high. With two of you splitting the work, the job moves fast — work as a team and double-check each other's work before checking out.
