Job Summary
The Work-Study Student supports the daily operations of the Equine department.
Must be a responsible, self-motivated individual with a genuine interest in equine care who is able to work outdoors in all manners of weather.
- Ability to lift boxes of at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time with or without modifications.
- Provide feed, maintain clean stables, and perform general stable care.
- Perform general lawn maintenance duties, i.e., mowing and weed-eating.
- Maintain, repair, and paint fences as needed.
This is part-time, with a maximum of 19 hours per week. Hours may be flexible during the workweek of Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8 am – Noon, based on department need.
- Pay: $15.00 an hour
- Applicants must have applied for financial aid and have financial need, including enrollment at NCTC.
