As a Truck Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling new and used medium- and heavy-duty trucks, meeting dealership sales objectives, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales process. The ideal candidate is self-driven, knowledgeable about truck specs and applications, and skilled in building lasting customer relationships.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education or related training a plus.
- 1–3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.
- Proficient in solving practical problems and interpreting a variety of instructions (written, oral, diagrams, schedules).
- Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain one.
Essential Job Functions
- Meet or exceed sales targets for new and used truck units.
- Proactively prospect for new customers via phone, email, in-person visits, and networking.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular follow-up and service support.
- Conduct effective truck demonstrations, including test drives when needed.
- Close truck sales, secure deposits, and process all paperwork accurately and in line with company policies.
- Prepare and submit detailed sales reports to the Truck Sales Manager.
- Assist walk-in and call-in customers with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Delivery of sold trucks and explain warranties, service policies, and vehicle features.
- Evaluate and appraise used trucks as needed.
- Attend required sales and training meetings to stay current on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Continuously study and stay informed on truck specifications, performance, and applications.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local vehicle sale regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company with integrity at all times.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
