What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Advocate position at North Central Indiana Rural Crisis Center?
The Crisis Center is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Client Advocate to assist clients and families in overcoming domestic violence and sexual assault. The Advocate will provide individual advocacy, support, and education to domestic violence/sexual assault victims; lead community education trainings and awareness; provide emotional support, assess lethality and social service needs; create safety plans, and make appropriate referrals to community resources. This is a full-time position with a M-F 8a-4p schedule but some evenings or weekends may be required. Applicants must have a high school diploma and valid driver’s license. Bachelor’s degree and experience working with survivors of domestic abuse or sexual assault is a plus. EOE.
