Job Purpose Statement:
This position works to develop and maintain state and district enrollment and assessment data, to prepare and submit certain state reports, and to provide technical support for all district state reporting collections. The State and Federal Reporting Specialist works with the NCESD Cabinet Level administrators and regional superintendents in collecting and reporting state and federal reports.
Job Qualifications: Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s in education, or at least three years’ experience in field of collecting and managing educational data, preferred
- Experience in related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of school processes and student information functions
Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required:
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance
- Valid Driver’s License and evidence of insurability
- Successfully pass district background screening

Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for accurate reporting of student enrollment and attendance information to the Oregon Department of Education, including ADM and SSID collections.
- Maintain knowledge of state reporting requirements and its implementation within the student information system and other systems
- Provide technical support and training to staff responsible for data entry and submitting state and federal reports to ensure data accuracy.
- Support Regional Superintendents with state and federal reporting.
- Provide technical support and training to staff using the student information system and other databases.
- Provide technical support for district and state assessments.
- Implement processes, train end users, and clean up data as necessary to ensure high quality student data.
- Performs other duties related to the position as assigned by supervisor.
Salary : $50,000 - $54,601
