Mounds View is home to Silver View Park and Mounds View Historical Society Museum.
Position Description:
The Service Coordinator plays an important role by scheduling and coordinating service work and repairs with the shop supervisor. This position will help maintain strong customer communication, keep accurate records, initiate service and repair orders, and prepare work orders.

Over time, North Central added to our product lines and started selling Commercial Buses as well as light and medium duty Truck Equipment. Today, we are the authorized Blue Bird and Micro Bird School Bus dealer in both MN and SD. In addition, we are authorized to sell Elkhart Coach, StarTrans, and Arboc Commercial Buses as well as Transit Works, BraunAbility and Abilitrax vans. Essential Functions:
- Customer Service & Repair Order Management: greets customers, manages repair orders, assists with scheduling, collects VIN and mileage, communicates job status, verifies parts and charges, and handles returns
- Customer Support & Service Preparation: quickly answers incoming calls, provides accurate quotes and follow-ups, prepares for scheduled service jobs by verifying parts availability, and monitors shared documents for accuracy and cleanliness
- Parts Coordination & Service Logistics: coordinates with the warehouse to pull parts for work orders, ensures warranty parts are labeled and processed, manages keys, coordinates service pick-ups and deliveries, and checks in new buses for pre-delivery inspection and warranty data entry
- Parts Management & Support Duties: completes purchase orders for parts, supports parts delivery between warehouse and shop, and performs additional duties as assigned by supervisors and leadership

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of scheduling or customer service experience
- Valid DL with good driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 1 year of experience in the school bus or truck equipment industry
- Class A or B license
