Business Title:
- Tennis Pro Shop Attendant
Job Purpose:
- To provide excellent customer service to members and guests by managing the pro shop operations, including sales, inventory, and court reservations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with purchases, rentals, and other pro shop needs.
- Manage inventory, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Handle court reservations and scheduling.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pro shop.
- Promote and sell merchandise, services, and programs.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide information about club activities and events.
- Assist with stringing rackets (if applicable).
- Open and close the pro shop according to established procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Tennis Pro or management.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Customer service experience
- Cash handling experience
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of tennis equipment and apparel
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale system
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
