The North Carolina State Bar is hiring a Compliance Specialist.

Join a small, collaborative compliance team in a supportive, team-oriented organization. As a Compliance Specialist, you’ll work closely with lawyers to help them become and remain trust account compliant — reviewing records, answering questions, and sharing practical guidance along the way. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys digging into details, explaining things clearly, and having variety in their day — while making a meaningful impact.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of auditing, bookkeeping, or accounting experience (or a combination of) required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with platforms like Zoom, Teams, and Microsoft Office
