Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Insurance Agent based in Sylva, NC, with the flexibility to work remotely for part of the role. The Insurance Agent will be responsible for selling insurance products, providing expert insurance advice to clients, maintaining current policies, and assisting clients in selecting appropriate coverage options. Day-to-day tasks include building lasting relationships with clients, evaluating their insurance needs, and ensuring excellent customer service. Proactive and client-focused communication will also play a key role in this position.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Insurance Sales, Insurance Brokerage, and general Insurance knowledge.
- Familiarity with Finance and the ability to assess risks and provide financial advice related to insurance products.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Effective communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in working in a hybrid environment and comfort with basic technology tools.
- License to sell insurance, or willingness to obtain required licensing in North Carolina.
- Prior experience in the insurance or finance industry is a plus.
