Responsibilities:
- Manages, analyzes, designs and produces advanced reports for NCEL personnel using NCEL’s various business intelligence tools and database applications
- Provides analytic and statistical data support for projects and tasks upon request or direction. Serves as the backup to the Data Analyst/Programmer within the Gaming Systems department
- Aids in the training of NCEL staff members on the use of Business Objects, SAS and other reporting and business intelligence solutions. Documents and suggest system enhancements for existing report processes and database systems. Works with the Software Quality Assurance team to test enhancements of the reporting and business intelligence tools provided by gaming vendors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience
- Skills in analytical judgment and decision-making
- Ability to decipher data and compose complex reports based on end user requirements
- Ability to read literature, books, reviews, technical journals and manuals
- Ability to work with advanced mathematical operations methods, and functions of real and complex variables in the creation of reports
- Ability to compose user documentation and guides based on report design and functionality
- Ability to provide advice to others outside of direct reporting relationships on specific issues and reporting and analysis needs
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Hiring Rate: $61,804 (this non-exempt position will be filled at or near the posted salary),
