About The Position
The Purchasing Branch Manager is a working supervisor for the Purchasing Branch, which works to ensure purchases are made in accordance with Division directives and ensures that Emergency Purchasing procedures are followed during All-Hazards events. Additionally, they are tasked to coordinate with the Logistics Contract Branch to ensure the division needs of All Hazards Pre-Positioned Contracts are met.

About The Position

- Supervising Branch Employees
- Executing procurement activities for the Division
- Serving as a liaison between the Division and DPS Purchasing and Logistics
- Assisting in supervising logistic teams during periods of emergency activation
- Applying State purchasing and logistic policies and procedures in a compliant manner
- Assisting the Contract Branch with procurement development
- Negotiate and establish Contracts in accordance with Policy and Regulation
- Utilize knowledge of the State's Budgeting and procurement processes and how they differ from emergency processes
