What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Assistant position at North Caddo Medical Center?
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide quality patient care while maintaining positive levels of interaction with staff and patients. The PTA shall perform treatments only under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The duties assigned t the physical therapy assistant shall be commensurate with the physical therapy assistant's education, training and experience. Additional job duties or functions may be requested per administration to assist in other areas of the hospital within your capabilities.
Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited School of Physical Therapy Assistants. Current licensure in Louisiana. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Continuing education credits as per the Louisiana Physical Therapy Board.
