What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campaign Manager, Northside BID position at North Brooklyn Parks Alliance?
North Brooklyn Parks Alliance is looking for a seasoned organizer to help lead the next phase of our campaign to create a Business Improvement District in Northside Williamsburg.
The proposed Northside BID would bring together property owners, businesses, residents, and community stakeholders to invest collectively in a cleaner, greener, safer, and more vibrant neighborhood, while supporting enhanced sanitation, greening and public-realm improvements, placemaking, programming, and local businesses.
After several years of planning and community engagement, the BID is now in its formal Outreach Phase. We’re looking for a Campaign Manager to lead an intensive organizing effort: building support across the neighborhood, organizing volunteers and community leaders, conducting door-to-door outreach, driving our ballot campaign, and helping grow the coalition needed to bring the BID to life.
This is a great role for someone with experience in campaigns, community organizing, local government, economic development, placemaking, or neighborhood advocacy who loves being out in the community and knows how to turn relationships into action.
Salary: $65,000–$75,000
Applications due: November 15
