Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant/ HHA to provide essential support and care to our Residents needs, including seniors and those with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living or home health environments and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our Residents. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and independence of those we serve while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.

• Ensure completing tasks and Documentation per NYS Regulations

• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided.

• Must report resident incident/ behaviors to Qualified Professional immediately.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, or home health is preferred.

• Knowledge of medical documentation practices is a plus.

• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs.

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.

• Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.

• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation duties.

• Certification in First Aid is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Certification in PCA or HHA

Pay: $18.20 - $19.00 per hour
