Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for Toddler, Preschool, and part time for School-Age Teachers at North Broadway Children's Center, located in Columbus, OH. Teachers in this role will develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, create engaging and educational activities, and foster a safe, supportive environment for children. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing classroom activities, guiding social and emotional development, and maintaining open and effective communication with parents and staff. Teachers are also expected to ensure a structured and positive learning atmosphere that supports the developmental needs of children across various age groups.
Qualifications
- Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Expertise in Early Childhood Education
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a nurturing and supportive play based learning environment
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working with toddlers, preschoolers, or school-age children is requirred
- Demonstrates openness to feedback and a commitment to ongoing development in teaching practices
- Performs other job duties as assigned
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
