Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), located in Cape Canaveral, FL. The selected candidate will provide high-quality patient care, including conducting medical assessments, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams. Responsibilities also include developing patient care plans, educating patients on health management, and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Patient Assessment, Diagnosing, and Care Planning
- Proficient in Prescribing Medications and Performing Minor Medical Procedures
- Knowledge in Patient Education and Preventive Health Protocols
- Strong Interpersonal Communication, Collaboration, and Teamwork Skills
- Understanding of Medical Documentation, Compliance Standards, and Regulatory Requirements
- Active state licensure as a PA or APRN with credentials for practicing in Florida
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications preferred
- Prior experience in clinical or hospital settings is a strong advantage
