Chisago County Schools' Life Work Center is looking a full-time Special Education Assistant. This position is 35 hours per week during the school year, with benefits.

The Life Work Center is a life skills and work exploration program for young adults with disabilities ages 18-21. This program is located in the North Branch Area Middle School. You will provide support to the special education staff with educationally related activities and help students with support in different subject areas; monitor/direct and support students in other school settings as needed.

Qualifications: High school diploma, or equivalent required; CPR, First Aid and CPI training preferred; Training, education, or experience working with students with disabilities desired

Salary: $16.70 to $22.04 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience

Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year
