Grades 6 - 8 Family and Consumer Science (FACS) Teacher

North Branch Area Middle School is seeking an innovative Family and Consumer Science teacher to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences for students in Grades 6 - 8. Sixth-grade students will build foundational life skills through nutrition, personal wellness, and practical living, while seventh graders explore consumer decision-making and career readiness. Eighth-grade students will expand their creativity and problem-solving through textiles and design, child development, entrepreneurship, and other project-based experiences that connect learning to life beyond the classroom. The ideal candidate fosters curiosity, collaboration, and confidence while creating an inclusive environment where every student can develop practical skills, independence, and a passion for lifelong learning. Qualifications Required: Current Minnesota license preferred but not required.
