Role Description
This is a full-time Interior Designer role based in Clarkston, MI. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing and presenting design concepts, creating scaled space plans and construction drawings, assisting with furniture, fixture, and equipment (FF&E) selection, and sourcing materials. Additional responsibilities include coordinating installations, collaborating with contractors and clients, and contributing to the overall vision and execution of high-quality design projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in interior design and space planning, with the ability to conceptualize and execute design projects.
- Familiarity with architecture and construction drawings, including creating and interpreting scaled plans and elevation drawings.
- Experience in selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, and finishes (FF&E) for design projects.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and creativity.
- Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp and/or AutoCAD or similar tools is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
