Department: Family Medicine, Myrtle Point Clinic
Reports To: Department Manager
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hours may vary according to patient scheduling)
35-40 Hours Full time/Benefits Provided

Full Job Description:
Position Summary:
Responsible for front or back-office duties which may include answering phone, scheduling patients, referrals, billing, triaging patients, rooming patients, assist provider with exams, process prescription refills, patient follow-up and processing of appropriate patient paperwork.
Principle Job Duties:
- Schedule appointments by phone or in person.
- Handle patient notifications.
- Process patient referrals, lab requests, etc.
- Process prescription refills.
- Prepare exam rooms.
- Room patients, take vitals and complete patient intake forms.
- Administer injections.
- Assist provider with exams.
- Proper processing of patient paperwork.
- Provide support to team members in providing excellent patient care.
- Demonstrate safe work practices.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Medical Assistant experience preferred, certified or non-certified.
- We will offer on the job training and certification.
- CPR certified or willing to become CPR certified in first 90 days.
- Good analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 or willing to get vaccinated
