North Beckley PSD is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and dependable Maintenance Laborer. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our community's infrastructure by assisting with sewer line maintenance and executing general district utility duties. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic who take pride in keeping systems operating smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative sewer line maintenance and repairs.
- Assist utility crews with excavation, pipe handling, and clearing blockages.
- Safely operate basic hand tools, power tools, and specialized utility equipment.
- Maintain clean, safe job sites and facility grounds.
- Execute other work-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Screening: Must be able to successfully pass a drug screening.
- Experience: Previous experience is preferred but not required.
